Many things are changing as the weeks go by. Interested in a hike or maybe an art class? Checkout the Events page. As new ideas for classes and outdoor activities are confirmed, they will be added. The goals of the HJP Park and Open Space Commission are to: Preserve the natural and cultural heritage of the HJP region. Establish a system of greenways to preserve, connect and enhance HJP's green infrastructure. Conserve important farmland and scenic areas. Create a system of parks and recreation throughout the HJP region. Provide a parks and recreation management system rooted in partnerships under HJP. Establish stable, equitable funding to support open space and recreation.
